Died 1428AD

This Dermot, son of Cooey na Gall died in 1428, he was described as a man full of triumphs and great honour. Tradition gave Dermot twelve sons, namely Cooey, ancestor to O'Cahan of Limavady, Dermot, Turlogh, Shane, Bryan, Donald, Mortogh, Donough, Naill, Owen, Toal, Evenney Patrick. Dermot was succeeded by his grandson, Godfrey.
